| Call me weird, but I prefer traveling alone. I guess it's my way of reconnecting with myself. Making up for the loss time on my own needs. I always think that when I'm alone, I am able to enjoy something the way I want, without worrying what others will say. My last road trip alone, which is what I do regularly every time I can, was when I went to Saint Petersburg. I just decided to drive around the city and explore different things. My first stop was at Red Mesa, where I had my fill of Mexican breakfast. I love tacos and frijoles, so dining at this place was such a pleasure. Located at 4912 4th Street, Red Mesa restaurant is the best place to eat Mexican! Then, after that fulfilling meal, I headed to Pass-A-Grille Beach to lounge for a short time and have fun under the sun. I wish I could stay longer but I plan to go to as many place as I can so left after staying there for about an hour. I drove farther and reached Don Cesar Beach Resort and Spa, and I fell in love with the place at first sight. But instead of a great time under the sun, I went to the Shops at the Donne and did my usual shopping for pretty stuff. What a great way to relieve myself form stress. After that, I decided to go to Mazzaro's Italian Market, located at 22nd Avenue, just a few minute drive from Don Cesar, to get my fill of their yummy wine and cheese! My last stop for my road trip was at Jannus Live, cos I heard my favorite artist is going to perform there that night! And I was right! I had a blast bopping my head and dancing to their tunes! Jannus Live really knows how to set up a one hell of a concert! The concert was on of a kind! It's always fun going out even if you're alone, you can do whatever you want, like what I just did during my Saint Petersburg road trip! I'm actually planning for a round 2! |
